We are excited to announce that Myatt & Bell, P.C. attorney John Boylston has been selected to the Super Lawyers 2014 Oregon Rising Stars list for Estate Planning and Probate. John joined Myatt & Bell, P.C. in July 2013, after spending the first seven years of his career working for large national law firms. When asked why he thinks he made this list, John said, “I believe in always being responsive, straight forward, and transparent with our firm’s clients in every aspect of our work together. Further, I believe that our clients should not have to pay an additional fee for the time it takes an attorney to explain what he or she is doing for the client; that should be included in the initial fee. To achieve these values, I provide as many services as possible on a flat-fee basis so that clients are aware of the costs before they sign-up for anything. Then, once they have hired Myatt & Bell, our clients can spend as much time as they need calling me, meeting with me, and asking questions until they are completely comfortable with the work that we are doing together, without being afraid of what the final cost might be. John’s practice primarily consists of working with families and small businesses. He helps families and businesses create estate and succession plans that best meet each family’s and business’s unique needs. Additionally, John uses his litigation background to recover money from those who have taken advantage of elderly or incapacitated individuals.
